Processed Oil / Fuel Oil
Processed Oil / Fuel Oil is produced during coal tar distillation. It is a brown liquid oil that is combustible. Its main components include methyl naphthalene, dim ethyl naphthalene, cresol, xylenol, high boiling point phenol, pyridine base and quinoline.
Uses
It is used in the extraction of benzene from coke oven gas in the steel industry. It is used as a wood preservative in the plywood industry
